TERMS & CONDITIONS INTERNET ABSENTEE BIDDING AUCTION (HUDSON AUCTION; 6.2.18) TERMS AND CONDITIONS: All property offered and sold through JCA Auctions & Appraisals (Hereafter called: Auctioneer) shall be offered and sold as follows: TYPE: INTERNET ABSENTEE BIDDING (Subsequent to Live Auction) DATES: May 16, 2018 -May 31, 2018 AUCTION CLOSING: This INTERNET ABSENTEE BIDDING AUCTION will begin to close on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 7:00 pm. All bidding is online. (Exception: During subsequent Live Auction) Lots will close approximately every 20 seconds. This auction uses a soft close, which provides an authentic auction atmosphere. Items will remain open for one minute after the latest bid until no more bids are made. REGISTRATION: Registration with a valid credit card is required before placing a bid in an Internet On-Line Auction. The credit card is used only to secure one's bids and will only be charged at the owner's request or if the payment period for an auction has elapsed. In the event that your item(s) are not picked up, your credit card will be charged the full amount of purchase. All items not picked up at the designated pick up time will be considered abandoned property and will not be the responsibility of the Auctioneer or the seller. INTERNET ABSENTEE BIDDING: When offered, On-Line Absentee Bids are accepted up until (48 HOURS) before the Live Auction Begins. These bids are NOT THE FINAL RESULT. Absentee bids become part of the live bidding action during the Live Auction and are entered by a Proxy Bidder who acts on behalf of the absentee bidder. Auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid and/or bidder at any time. All items may be sold to the highest bidder by the Auc tioneer, with the exception of items to be protected and/or reserved. Bidding may be reopened at the Auctioneer's discretion. The Auctioneer reserves the right to withdraw any item and to reoffer the item at another time. Bidder understands that the Auctioneer has not verified any such statements or opinions and does not warrant their accuracy. Merchandise is being sold "AS IS", "WHERE IS" without warranty or guarantee. All known information pertaining to the condition and description of the property has been posted on the website. Bidders may obtain additional information by attending the live previews and visually inspecting the items. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to have thoroughly inspected the merchandise and to have satisfied him or her as to its condition and value and to bid based upon that judgment solely. ALL PURCHASES ARE FINAL. BUYER'S PRIMIUM: 5% buyer's premium will be added to the sold/sale price for all online buyers. SHIPPING: Shipping and insurance is the responsibility of the purchaser. Purchase is not contingent upon the shipping costs. Should buyer request Shipping Services, these services may be arranged through the Auctioneer on a case-by case basis. PREVIEW/INSPECTION: The Auctioneer strongly encourages bidders to inspect all items before bidding. By placing a bid, bidder signifies that they have examined the items to their satisfaction, or that they have chosen not to personally examine the items offered for sale. Bidders may find the inspection schedule and location on the details page of each auction. PICK-UP: Successful bidders/buyers may find pick-up schedule and location on the details page of each auction. NOTICE: The Auctioneer will not be able to hold/store any items for pick up beyond the stated times. Buyer will be charged the full amount for items not picked up, and will forfeit their right and claim to the property. NOTE: ON-SITE PICK-UP SCHEDULE; Winning Bidder shall have 4 days to pick-up large items, i.e.: Vehicles, etc.. Winning Bidder shall coordinate/arrange pick-up with the owner of the property. APPLICABLE TAXES: Applicable Sales Taxes will apply to all purchases. (State, County & City). Sales Tax of 8.40 % will be collected for the state that the items are located. All Successful Bidders are charged sales tax unless tax exempt forms have been submitted before the close of the auction. PAYMENT: Winning Bidder/Buyer will receive an invoice listing the items won within a few hours of the auction closing. Only Credit Card payments are accepted for this INTERNET ABSENTEE AUCTION. Cards accepted include MasterCard, Visa and Discover only. Buyer's purchases will be paid with the same credit cards used to register for this auction. By bidding on this auction, you are agreeing to all of the terms posted for this auction. Declined credit cards can result in a buyer being banned from participating in future auctions. JCA Auctions & Appraisals are members of the National and State Auctioneers Associations. Non-paying and/or fraudulent bidder names may be shared with other auction companies.
